About Us

Green Climate Support & Awareness Initiative (GCSAI), Gombe, is a committed non-profit organization dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability, conserving natural ecosystems, and building community resilience to climate change. Our work spans across climate education, biodiversity protection, sustainable livelihoods, and community-centered environmental action. A major focus of our initiative is Wildlife and Forest Conservation. We work to protect endangered species, restore degraded forest landscapes, promote tree planting, and strengthen community awareness on the importance of preserving natural habitats. Through advocacy, research, and collaborative forest restoration projects, we strive to safeguard the delicate balance of our ecosystems. At GCSAI, we believe that long-term environmental protection depends on active community involvement. Therefore, we engage youth, women, schools, and local stakeholders in programs such as climate awareness campaigns, waste management initiatives, biodiversity conservation, and eco-friendly livelihood development. Despite the challenges facing environmental and non-profit work, our commitment remains strong. GCSAI continues to champion a greener, healthier, and more climate-resilient Gombe State and Nigeria at large.s
